Market in dire need of business skills development
18 November 2008

On-Site Training, a privately-owned national Proudly South African provider of comprehensive training services covering Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and critical Business Skills Development, is offering a limited special on its Certified Business ProfessionalTM (CBP) range of courses.

This special offer, runs until mid-December 2008, is targeted at any business or organization and for every five delegates that commit to a CBP™ course, two additional people can complete the training for free.

The need for key business skills is such that accredited, credible and established trainers are reinforcing efforts to attract companies to commit employees to training.

“It is true that when people talk about information and communication technology training, there is a tendency to focus almost entirely on strictly technical education. However, our experience to date and the ongoing feedback that we do receive from the market is that there is a substantial need for skills that cover the entire spectrum of critical areas involved in professional business management and service,” says Richard Rayne, MD at On-Site Training.

It is for this reason that Rayne and his management team at On-Site Training have decided to run a promotion on the courses.

“We believe the need is there and if there is some way we can lighten the burden for companies that urgently require skills sets, we are happy to do so. These skills sets make a difference to operations and enhance service levels to improve competitive advantage, which in the current socio-economic climate, is absolutely mission critical,” adds Rayne.

The On-Site Training CBP™ courses are designed to ensure candidates are proficient in disciplines including leadership, sales, project management, customer service and business communication amongst others.

“These are fundamental components to the overall success of any venture of any size and within any enterprise or industry,” Rayne continues. “We are often approached by executives and the top level management of businesses to assist in improving skills and understanding of these very important facets of running a company. The significance of training has moved beyond simply acquiring knowledge of technology and its application in the workplace. Now the emphasis is on extending these skills sets across the board within the organization and reinforcing the ability of employees primarily for individual development and also to improve efficiency, service and operations of companies to boost their competitive advantages and market share.”
